These were the main questions we discussed during a workshop on environmental monitoring using the EcoVoce application for children, which took place on July 17 in Roșia Montană.
Together with the 16 children, we also discussed environmental issues such as littering in nature, the health impact of asbestos, and plastic pollution, which we also address through the EcoVoce application. EcoVoce app!.
Then we challenged the children to contribute to science by exploring the surroundings of the "Simion Balint" Roșia Montană Secondary School and documenting the environmental problems they identified using the EcoVoce Application. EcoVoce app.
In the end, the children graphically illustrated microplastic particles, which are increasingly present in the environment, and we searched together for solutions to reduce microplastic and protect our health.
The EcoVoce – Speak up! workshop took place within the Mural Art Workshop, organized by Asociația 37, which was held between July 16-18 in Roșia Montană.
