On October 12th, at "Simion Balint" Gymnasium School in Roșia Montană, a new EcoVoce workshop took place, bringing together parents, educators, children, and young people to discuss local environmental challenges, such as improper waste disposal, vegetation burning, air pollution, and the presence of asbestos – issues commonly encountered in the Arieș Valley. Participants explored these topics in detail using infographics developed as part of the EcoVoce Speak Up! project.
After the workshop, we had fun with the "Waste Hunt" competition! Participants collected various types of waste from the school yard, tracking everything with the help of the EcoVoce app. In the end, we were rewarded with well-deserved prizes and surprises!
The EcoVoce – Speak Up! workshop took place as part of an educational event organized by Asociația 37, held from October 12-13 in Roșia Montană.
