Field application with drones

Between April 12-13, 2023, we organized our first field application with drones in the study area, in which 2 volunteer students accompanied us. Our goal is:

• To develop UAS-based orthophotoplans of the area for better visualization of environmental issues.
• To test the optimal flight parameters for efficient airborne waste identification.

ℹ️ The EcoVoce project brings together a multidisciplinary team of researchers from the Faculty of Environmental Science and Engineering and the Faculty of Geography Cluj-Napoca, which was recently joined by 4 volunteer students who will be trained in the use of drones.
